Custom DTF Gang Sheets
Pack every design you need onto a single sheet and get professional-quality DTF transfers pressed and shipped fast. Vivid color, soft hand feel, and 100+ wash durability — built for print shops, boutiques, brands, and hobbyists across Phoenix and all 50 states.
What Is a DTF Gang Sheet?
A DTF gang sheet is a single sheet of Direct-to-Film transfer film printed edge-to-edge with as many designs as you can fit — maximizing every square inch and eliminating the per-design setup fees you'd pay with individual transfers. Instead of ordering one design at a time, you arrange all your artwork onto one 22"-wide sheet, upload it, and we print the whole run at once. It's the smartest way to produce custom DTF transfers in bulk without sacrificing quality or variety.
At Outta PHX Print Shop, our gang sheets are printed using advanced CMYK DTF technology, delivering vibrant, true-to-life color on virtually every fabric — cotton, polyester, nylon, rayon, denim, blends, and more. No pretreatment. No weeding. No minimum order. Just upload, press, and wear.
Whether you're a small business owner in Scottsdale printing branded shirts, a boutique in Tempe running seasonal drops, a print shop in Mesa fulfilling wholesale orders, or a crafter in Gilbert making custom pieces — our DTF gang sheets are built to handle every scale, every design, every deadline.
Why Choose Outta PHX DTF Gang Sheets
Not all DTF gang sheets are equal. The difference is in the film, the ink, the powder adhesive, and the care behind every print. Here's what sets ours apart:
Our CMYK DTF process produces richly saturated prints — deeper reds, truer blues, clean whites on dark fabrics, and smooth gradients that don't band or bleed. What you design is what you get.
Cotton, polyester, nylon, rayon, canvas, denim, spandex blends — DTF adheres to all of them. Light or dark garments. No pretreatment, no special coating. White underbase already applied.
Premium film and ink formula means your designs stretch and flex without cracking, peeling, or fading — even after 100+ washes. Built for everyday wear and high-movement apparel.
Unlike vinyl or screen-print transfers that sit stiff on the fabric, DTF transfers feel smooth and soft to the touch. Customers notice the difference immediately.
Our process captures fine details down to 3 pixels — clean text, intricate linework, and small design elements that hold their edge. Retail-quality results every single time.
Skip the prep. Cut your transfer, position it, press, and peel. Nothing to weed, no pre-spray, no complicated setup. Anyone can apply these transfers with great results.
We charge by the square inch — down to the sub-inch level. No fees for unused sheet area, no padding surcharges. You're only billed for the space your actual designs take up.
Same-day production for orders placed before our 2–3 PM Phoenix cutoff. Express shipping at checkout. Local Phoenix Valley customers can pick up in person the same day.
💡 Pro Tip — Extra-Long Sheets
Need a sheet longer than 20 feet? Just increase your order quantity. Qty 2 = 40 feet. Qty 3 = 60 feet. Your entire design set prints sequentially across the combined length — perfect for bulk production or oversized runs.

Artwork & File Setup Guidelines
We print exactly what you upload. Our team does not correct spelling, adjust sizing, fix colors, or reposition artwork. Review your files carefully before submitting — the checklist below covers everything you need for a perfect print the first time.
- ✓Accepted File Types: PNG, SVG, and JPEG. Vector files (SVG) produce the sharpest edges at any size. PNG with transparent background is ideal for most designs.
- ✓Minimum Resolution: 300 dpi at actual print size. Enlarging a 300 dpi image after the fact will cause pixelation that cannot be corrected in production.
- ✓Color Profile: Design in Adobe RGB (1998) for the most vibrant and accurate color output. Standard sRGB may produce less saturated results.
- ✓Backgrounds: Remove any backgrounds you don't want printed. Use a transparent PNG background unless you intentionally want the background included.
- ✓Gang Sheet Width: All sheets must be exactly 22" wide. Incorrect sizing will delay your order.
- ✓Minimum Line & Font Thickness: Keep all lines and fonts at a minimum of 7.5px or 0.25". Thinner elements may not receive clean ink and powder coverage.
- ✓Very Fine Detail: Elements smaller than 0.02" (0.5mm) may not transfer cleanly. Our process captures details down to 3 pixels, but keep critical text larger for guaranteed results.
- ✓Avoid: Neon glows, soft brush edges, and feathered gradients — DTF technology can struggle with these. Use hard edges and defined shapes wherever possible.
- ✓Do Not Mirror your artwork before uploading. Upload in final orientation.
- ✓Exporting from Canva / Procreate: Export as PDF to preserve quality and avoid compression artifacts. PNG at 300 dpi is an acceptable alternative.
- ✓Color Shifts: Minor shifts can occur during CMYK conversion. Build in CMYK or Adobe RGB (1998) for the closest match to your on-screen design.
⚠️ Heads Up
Incorrect file sizing delays orders. Double-check your gang sheet is exactly 22" wide and that all designs are sized, placed, and spelled correctly before uploading. We cannot issue reprints for low-resolution or poorly prepared files.
How to Apply DTF Transfers — 5 Steps
DTF transfers are one of the easiest application methods available. No special equipment required beyond a heat press or iron — and with a little practice, you'll be pressing professional-quality garments in seconds.
You do not need to pre-press or pre-iron your garment. Moisture removal is not required. However, if you want to smooth heavy wrinkles or prefer a perfectly flat surface, a quick 3–5 second pre-press is fine.
Take your time lining up the transfer before heat is applied. On a flat heat press, the transfer typically stays in place on its own. For hats, curved surfaces, or when using an iron, use heat-resistant tape to prevent shifting. A DTF Alignment Ruler Set helps with precise, consistent placement.
Apply firm, even pressure. 310°F for 15 seconds is the standard starting point for most fabrics. Always use parchment paper or a Teflon guard sheet between the press and the fabric. See the press settings callout below for fabric-specific temperatures.
Wait at least 15–30 seconds until the transfer is fully cool to the touch. Peel back from one corner slowly — watch the design as you go to confirm every element is adhering. If any part lifts with the film, lay it back down and re-press with additional time (+5–10 seconds). If it still doesn't stick, increase temperature in 15°F increments. You can re-press multiple times without damaging the transfer.
Cover the design with parchment paper or a single layer of fabric and press again for 15 seconds. This softens the hand feel, increases wash durability, and removes surface shine. For a glossy finish, use a Teflon guard sheet for this final press instead of parchment.
🌡️ Recommended Press Settings by Fabric
- Cotton & Cotton Blends: 300–320°F · 10–15 seconds · Firm pressure
- Polyester & Performance Fabrics: 270–290°F · 8–12 seconds · Firm pressure
- Blended Fabrics (50/50, tri-blend): 290–300°F · 10–12 seconds · Firm pressure · Adjust based on results
Finish Tip: Parchment paper on the final press = matte finish. Teflon sheet on the final press = glossy finish. Both are durable — choose the look that matches your brand.

Build Your Gang Sheet →DTF Gang Sheet FAQ
What is a DTF gang sheet and how is it different from ordering individual transfers?
A DTF gang sheet is a single sheet of transfer film packed with multiple designs — arranged however you like within the 22" width. Instead of paying a per-design setup fee, you consolidate everything into one print run and only pay for the square inches your designs occupy. No wasted film, no wasted money. It's the most cost-efficient way to produce custom DTF transfers, especially when you have multiple designs or small quantities of many different prints.
Can I mix different designs on the same gang sheet?
Yes — that's exactly what a gang sheet is for. Arrange as many different designs on the sheet as you want. There are no restrictions on mixing designs, colors, sizes, or artwork styles. You pay only for the area your designs fill, and there is no charge for unused space.
What fabrics do DTF gang sheet transfers work on?
DTF transfers adhere to virtually any fabric type — cotton, polyester, nylon, rayon, canvas, denim, spandex blends, fleece, and tri-blend fabrics. They work on both light and dark garments without any pretreatment or special coating. The white underbase is already built into the transfer, so even dark shirts get a bright, opaque print.
Do I need a commercial heat press to apply DTF transfers?
A commercial heat press gives the most consistent results and we strongly recommend one for production use. A household iron can work with proper technique — use firm, even pressure, cover the transfer with parchment paper or a Teflon sheet, and follow the temperature and time guidelines for your fabric. The key is consistent pressure across the full design, which a flat press handles more reliably than an iron.
How long will a DTF transfer last after washing?
Our DTF transfers are tested to hold up through 100+ washes with proper care. Turn garments inside out, wash cold, avoid bleach and fabric softener, and dry on low heat or hang dry. Following those steps, the print stays vibrant and crack-free through heavy regular use — including athletic wear and kids' apparel that gets washed frequently.
What's the maximum length for a DTF gang sheet?
Individual sheets run up to 20 feet in length at 22" wide. Need more? Simply increase your order quantity — qty 2 gives you 40 feet, qty 3 gives 60 feet, and so on. Your designs print sequentially across the full combined run. This is the most efficient approach for large bulk orders or extended runs of the same design set.
What file format should I use when uploading my gang sheet?
We accept PNG, SVG, and JPEG. PNG with a transparent background is the most common and reliable choice. SVG vector files produce the sharpest edges. JPEG works but doesn't support transparency — use it only for designs where no background removal is needed. Minimum 300 dpi at actual print size, and your sheet must be exactly 22" wide.
Will my colors look exactly like they do on my screen?
We get very close — our CMYK DTF process delivers accurate, vibrant color reproduction. Minor shifts can occur during CMYK conversion since screens display in RGB, which has a different gamut than print. For the closest match, design in Adobe RGB (1998) and build your file in CMYK from the start where possible. Avoid highly saturated neon or fluorescent colors that fall outside the CMYK print gamut.
How does your pricing work — am I paying for the full sheet?
No — you only pay for the area your designs actually cover. We calculate pricing by the square inch, down to the sub-inch level. No charge for blank space and no padding or handling fee. Smaller, tightly-packed gang sheets can be extremely cost-effective. Pricing starts at $0.02 per square inch, with bulk discounts applied automatically at higher quantities.
How fast is production and shipping?
Same-day production is available for orders placed before our 2–3 PM Phoenix cutoff. Express shipping is available at checkout with delivery as fast as 1 business day. Standard U.S. shipping is free on orders of $99 or more. Local Phoenix Valley customers can pick up at our shop at 420 E Bell Rd, Suite #7, Phoenix, AZ 85022. We're open Monday–Friday 9 AM–7 PM and Saturday 9 AM–5 PM.
What if my transfer doesn't stick or the design doesn't fully transfer?
If part of the design doesn't transfer during peeling, lay the film back down and re-press. Start by adding 5–10 seconds to your press time at the same temperature. If that doesn't work, increase temperature in 15°F increments. DTF transfers can be re-pressed multiple times without damage. The most common causes are insufficient heat, insufficient pressure, or peeling before the transfer is fully cool — always wait a full 15–30 seconds.
Do you fix errors in my artwork before printing?
No — we print exactly what we receive. Spelling errors, sizing issues, color inconsistencies, low resolution, and placement are all the responsibility of the file submitter. Please double-check everything before uploading. We cannot issue reprints for files submitted with errors that were present in the original upload.
What is your reprint and returns policy?
If there is a print quality or adhesion issue on our end, contact us within 45 days of receiving your order and we'll reprint at no charge. Reprints are not available for orders with errors in the uploaded file. For other refund or return requests, reach out directly so our team can review your case.
Is DTF better than HTV (heat transfer vinyl) or DTG printing?
DTF offers several advantages over both. Compared to HTV, DTF requires no cutting, no weeding, and handles full-color artwork in a single press with no layering. Compared to DTG, DTF works on any fabric color and type without pretreatment, and the per-piece cost is typically lower for small runs. DTF is also more durable than many DTG prints on polyester and synthetic fabrics. For most custom apparel needs — especially varied designs in small quantities — DTF gang sheets are hard to beat on speed, flexibility, and cost.
